Located at the major intersection of Western Avenue and Artesia Boulevard in Gardena, California, Cal-Coast was retained by Honeywell Inc. to Master Plan and process the government approvals for the 15 acre former Honeywell manufacturing plant. Cal-Coast in partnership with American Stores Company developed the 100,000 square foot shopping center. The brown-field development that required extensive remediation is now a successful neighborhood shopping center anchored by a ±66,290 square foot Albertsons/Sav-on/Chase. The Albertsons is complimented by five outparcels totaling 32,305 square feet, leased to twenty (20) national, regional or local tenants, the majority of whom have occupied the property for more than ten (10) years, inclusive of Starbucks, Chipotle, Papa John’s, AT&T, Baskin Robbins, GNC, Fantastic Sam’s, Kinecta Federal Credit Union, Yogurtland and In-N-Out Burger.
