The Wilshire/La Brea Mixed Use Development was an assemblage of three parcels located on the SEC of Wilshire Boulevard and La Brea Avenue for a total lot size of 3.6 acres. The project site formerly housed the Columbia Savings bank building, as well as parking lots and some small retail businesses. The development consisted of two 20 story condominium towers (180 units) at the corner of Wilshire and La Brea above 20,000 square feet of retail/restaurant space, a 6 story mid-rise apartment (200 units) complex above 25,000 square feet of retail space, 18 town home units and a 1,030 stall parking structure wrapped by the entire project with roof top amenities such as tennis courts, a putting green, barbeque/fire pit lounge area, swimming pools, a gym and recreation room. Prior to finalizing the entitlements, a nationally known apartment REIT made an offer to purchase the site
